DQI has extensive experience in single residential dwellings, townhomes, office condominiums and commercial spaces, such as restaurants and dance studios. Careful attention is given to ensure that all practices are current, meet or surpass Code, and demonstrate respect for the environment and renewable resources.

Just as a building relies on a solid foundation, DQI is founded on developing strong relationships. Significantly, clients often return for additional projects and make referrals to friends and family. Likewise, many trades, suppliers and associates have worked with DQI for over 20 years.

As the proud recipient of numerous Oakville and Mississauga Urban Design Awards, DQI has been honoured for excellence in urban design, architecture and landscape architecture. They are also active participants in Volunteer Builders, a not-for-profit organization that builds at least one structure annually for Ontario children’s camps in need.

Established in 1986, DQI is directed by owner and principal designer, Jonathan Sprawson, B. Arch., B.E.S. Together, with a diverse team of professionals, DQI ensures each project phase is thoroughly co-ordinate and supportively integrated. This includes design and working drawings, budget and administration, permit acquisition, interior design, construction and site management.
